FundMyTravel.com is an online crowd funding platform developed by GoAbroad.com to allow students to raise funds to cover the expenses of their study abroad program. With Fund My Travel, students can create customizable travel campaigns which they can share across numerous social media channels in order to collect donations from friends, contacts and family members – all you need is a verified PayPal account.

With such a range of scholarships you must confirm whether or not the scholarship can be used for our program. Independent scholarships can almost always be used for your Sol Abroad program, but some scholarships have special stipulations.

If you are paying for your program, or a portion of your program, through some type of Financial Aid or outside scholarship then we require a Good Faith Payment before departure. It is common this type of funding be released once the session begins or slightly before.

    Good Faith Payments:
        $500 for Summer, Winter Break and Spring Break Programs
        $1000 for Semester Programs

We must also have written confirmation from you that you are using aid and when you estimate that the funds will be released. Once you have received your funds it is your responsibility to pay your remaining program balance.

If you have not paid by the halfway point you will be removed from the program (academics, homestay, etc.).
